“ I made the Vertigo because it was lighter than carrying three camera bodies with three primes. Seriously, that was what I was doing. Large sensors are great until you’re looking for the zoom-ratio that we need in docs.
I needed to switch between a very wide lens and a very tight lens without disrupting the scene and the Vertigo is the only piece of kit that lets me do this. Zooms don’t cover the range that I work in and I get the bonus of 1.4 stop when I need it.
5 years of testing in locations all over the world and it just keeps working…
